Over 18,000 Voted NO to
Increase in SALES TAX !
We all came
together and defeated the proposal to raise our Sales Tax.
Give YOURSELF a big "Pat On The Back" for a job well done.
This just gives you an idea of what can be accomplished when
we set aside partisan differences and work together with a
common goal.
Now that the primary election is over, it
is time to start organizing our campaign to bring REAL
CHANGE to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners. I have
spoken with many in the district and their concerns are:

Local
Government is Too Large and
Taxes are Too High.

Commissioners seem to be representing Government
not Working Families.

We Need to
Stop the Bickering between the
Commissioners and School Board.

There is No
Reason to Maintain A Huge Reserve Fund.
-
It is
wrong for local government to spend tax dollars
to "educate" citizens why they need to pay more taxes.
